MSU Wonderlust:Poverty in the Gallatin Valley: What We See and What We Don’t and What HRDC is Doing About It

MSU Wonderlust will host a forum on Friday, Dec. 14 called “Poverty in the Gallatin Valley: What We See and What We Don’t and What HRDC is Doing About It."

The event is free and open to the public. It begins at noon at the Bozeman Public Library. Since 1975 HRDC has been working to improve the lives of kids, teens, and adults in our valley. Their focus is poverty but their programs and interventions address needs wherever they exist.

HRDC President/CEO Heather Grenier and Directors of the leadership team—Sara Savage, Early Childhood Education; Margaret Mason, Senior Programs; and Tracy Menuez, Community Development—will present an overview of HRDC: How it works to assess needs, develop programs, interventions, and partnerships, and evaluate their effectiveness in a time of budgetary uncertainty and community change.

The November Friday Forum is is hosted by the Bozeman Library Foundation. MSU Wonderlust, a lifelong learning organization, is part of MSU Academic Technology and Outreach. For more information on MSU Wonderlust or the forum, visit http://www.montana.edu/wonderlust.
