The Livingston Depot Foundation will hold its sixteenth annual Wine and Beer Tasting on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Livingston Depot Center.

The event benefits the Depot Center and its museum while showcasing beers by regional craft brewers. Specialty wines from around the world are expertly picked by the Gourmet Cellar and Uncorked Wine Bar located at the Depot Center. The Northern Pacific Beanery will be crafting tantalizing appetizers. Live music will be provided by the Ridgeway Collective, and a wide variety of silent auction items by artists and businesses, as well as giveaways will be offered during the evening.  Auction items include overnight getaways, fine art, quality dining, vintage jewelry, and more.

The raffle prize wraps up the evening with a “Gourmet Extravaganza,” an international collection of fine food, wines, cheeses, and other indulgent delights.

The Ridgeway Collective, which has in past also performed as the Swingley Jazz Project, will make a reappearance.  Featuring Matt Ridgeway on piano, Cameron Reichert on bass, and Garrett Stannard on the drums, the group plays a wide repertoire from classic jazz to Latin.

The Livingston Depot Foundation depends on community support to sustain its historic preservation and educational mission at the heart of Livingston and Park County, as both a museum and community center in a beautiful historic former Northern Pacific rail station.  Now in service to the community for over three decades, the Depot has been popular with guests and visitors for years and is a credit to the members and friends who continue their support, anchoring the downtown and introducing guests to area history and character each year.

The Depot Foundation’s trustees express their particular appreciation to the businesses and individuals who support this event through sponsorship, silent auction donations, and other assistance.

Tickets for the event are limited, and advance purchase is highly recommended. Tickets are $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Admission opens the door to wine and beer tastings, appetizers, entertainment, prizes, and a lively evening.  Advance reservations and purchase may also be made by calling the Livingston Depot at 222-2300.
