Edible Backyards Series
Create an edible landscape brimming with fresh vegetables and fruit, a backyard ecosystem that provides you with bounty and beauty! This three-part workshop over three consecutive Wednesdays (April 4, 11, 18) will cover specific design techniques for annual and perennial edible gardens in our cold climate. Learn ways to design a more efficient, productive and beautiful space! Topics covered include: Planning and Designing your Backyard Space Composting and Soil-building Gardening strategies and techniques You will leave this class with fresh ideas for your yard, practical advice on how to make your garden more productive and concrete steps to make you more successful this growing season!
