Ris Higgins is a leadership coach, author, and Vice-President of Leadership Outfitters, a Bozeman-based company providing life-altering leadership development through coaching, retreats, coaching intensives, and teamwork. She has offered insights and real-life applications, not just theory, to leaders and their teams since 1974, spending the last 25 years learning the joys and challenges of leading her own business with her husband.
Ris is a former Board President of the Prospera Business Network and currently serves on their Advisory Board for the Montana Women’s Business Center who named her their 2011 Mentor of the Year. Over the past six years, she has volunteered her time as a mentor to eight women entrepreneurs under the Montana WBC program. In 2012, the SBA named her first runner-up as the Women in Business Champion of the Year, and in 2014, Ris was honored with the Athena Leadership Award for Women in Business. Ris’ personal mission is to make a difference.
