This year, the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center (GNFAC) will be hosting our 18th annual event and we hope you (and your product or service!) will join us.   The Friends are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting avalanche education and awareness in SW Montana by financially supporting GNFAC. This is a sell-out event with excellent Asian food by Bountiful Table, beer, wine, music, raffle and silent auction. We invite and encourage all winter backcountry users to enjoy the festivities, and ask for a $30 donation to support the Friends.   Your contributions to our silent auction and raffle are greatly appreciated and critical to our success.  To lend your support, please fill out the form below and ship your auction/raffle donations by Oct. 23th to the address included. The sooner the better!   The GNFAC provides daily avalanche advisories for the mountain ranges of SW Montana, which give vital snowpack, snow stability and weather information accessed by skiers, boarders and snowmobilers. This information helps these backcountry users make knowledgeable and safe decisions regarding a changing snowpack. The GNFAC is dependent on community support through the Friends for its daily operations. Your support as an individual or business will provide the means for the GNFAC to continue to issue advisories and further their education efforts in our community.   Your contribution makes a difference.
