re:born

re:born will be held at Treeline Coffee Roasters after business hours so it will be closed to the public. This will provide a safe & private space to share & listen.

re:born is place to share, a place to feel included, and a place to heal through the power of storytelling.

re:born is for anyone who has been touched by the birth of another human being, including mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers, even friends, as we know that the collective human experience is better off when shared.

The goal for re:born is to provide a safe space for healing by sharing real stories of the transformative effects that birth and the postpartum period has on our bodies, physically and emotionally. It is our hope that our community will feel empowered by having the opportunity to share a vulnerable, intimate, and authentic story to help connect them to the greater human experience.

The format for re:born is a traditional “open-mic” style. We will have time for 5 stories (each approximately 10 minutes long) and possibly more. Your stories need not be rehearsed or perfect little bundles. We are all, by nature, storytellers. The hope is that someone listening might feel moved by another’s story so that they, too, will feel the urge to share and release the story from their body.

The need for storytelling in our community is huge. Everyone is welcome at this free event. There is no obligation to share your story.
