On the eve of his widowed father’s second wedding, 15-year-old David Portnoy spots what may just be the extinct Labrador duck. In his presentation, “Lost Birds & Found Directions”, Dr. Ellison will address birding issues unique to Montana, while sharing personal insights into his profession of Grassland & Avian Ecology. Science on Screen is a national initiative to promote scientific understanding by pairing film with live presentations from local scientists. SoS is underwritten by a generous grant from the Alfred P. Sloan & Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundations.
