The 5th Annual D.R.E.A.M. Buddy Walk is Saturday October 4th at 11 AM at the Gallatin County Regional Park – The Dinosaur Playground - in Bozeman. It is the sole fundraiser for Down syndrome research, education, advocacy in Montana (D.R.E.A.M.). The funds raised every year go towards D.R.E.A.M. Grants which are given out three times a year to help families pay for medical expenses, therapies, tutors, adaptive equipment and adult continuing education.
This event is also an incredible way to celebrate the lives of those who have Down syndrome and to promote their inclusion within the community. It is a day to admire who they are and how they enrich our lives.

The walk is a 1 –mile loop around the Gallatin County Regional Park and the celebration begins and ends at the Dinosaur Playground. Every year the event grows and the dollar amount raised goes up as well. We are so blessed and thankful to live in such a generous community who believes in what we are doing and embraces who we are. Last year we raised over fifteen thousand dollars and this year we hope to beat that number.  D.R.E.A.M. helps pave the way for people with Down syndrome by helping with early intervention services, IPADS, adaptive classes and more.

Registration begins at 10 AM at the Dinosaur Playground off of Oak Street and Davis in Bozeman. The fee is $10 and includes a t-shirt.  This year there will be live music, kid’s activities, delicious lunch from local businesses including Rosa’s Pizza and Sola Café among others; and door prizes that include donations from Big Sky Resort, Theory Hair Salon, Rocky Mountain Toy Store, Mint Dental, Pure Barre, Gallatin Valley Botanicals and many more.  This year’s event sponsors include Williams Civil Construction, Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, Acorn Pediatrics, The Cozy Nest, Big Sky Build, Bozeman Deaconness Hospital, Ressler Toyota, Trenka Speech-Language Services and The Hungry Moose Market & Deli.
