New Funding for Women to Receive Free Family Planning Services

PlanFirst is a Medicaid Program that provides family planning services to eligible women in Montana! You must be 19-44 yrs, not pregnant, have a household income ≤ 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, a Montana resident, a US citizen, and be uninsured. If you meet these requirements, you could be eligible for free birth control and reproductive health visits for 1 year or more. Call Bridgercare to find out more! 406-587-0681.

Eligibility
Women ages 19-44, non pregnant, with household incomes at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level and not otherwise enrolled in Medicaid.
MT resident.
US citizen or qualified non citizen
Applicants cannot presently have other coverage for family planning services.
Waiver will be limited to 4000 participants per demonstration year; applicants over 4000 will be placed on a waiting list and become eligible on a first in first out basis.

Eligibility will be for a one year period and begin on the first day of the month of application if criteria are met.
Application may be completed at Bridgercare.

Covered services

Family planning related services only will be covered. Services include contraceptive supplies, office visits, laboratory services, and testing and treatment of STDs.
